The Sanctuary of Apollo at Despotiko - Antiparos (Yannos Kourayos) with participation of Erica Angliker (Music and Dance in Despotiko)

Alexandria Institute organizes an online lecture in English about  "The Sanctuary of Apollo at Despotiko”. 
On Thursday 21st of May the archaeologist Yannos Kourayos will be speaking about the ongoing excavation at the site of Mandra where it was found one of the biggest  sanctuaries of Apollo on the Cyclades. 
He will present  some of the key discoveries at the site since 2000, with special emphasis on the project of restoration on the main cultic building and on the 2019 campaign on the islet Tsimintiri, which was part of Despotiko in antiquity.
The presentation will finish with Erica Angliker speaking about dance and music at the sanctuary of Despotiko.
